Reading a candidate's fit score

Every learner returned by a role-based Talent Pool search comes with a fit score — a measure of how closely they match the role's full bundle of required skills and levels, not just whether they hold any one of them.

How fit is calculated

The search compares each learner's held skill levels against every skill required by the role. A learner meeting all requirements at or above the minimum level ranks highest; a learner meeting most requirements, or meeting them at a lower level than required, ranks lower but still appears — near-fits are useful when you are looking for who to develop, not only who already qualifies.
